What if you had nothing to prove?

There are so many expectations and demands from day to day; therapy is a space where you can put some of that down. People describe me as comforting and easy to talk to. I am trauma-informed, have lived experience, and draw from approaches that are dynamic and flexible.

It will take a few sessions for us to get to know one another. It’s true that this work can feel heavy and sometimes it is really hard. And it isn’t always - finding space for play, humor, rest, and expression is part of it. I’m happy to use tools beyond talk therapy when they feel appropriate. Some of those may include things like:

Tearing stuff up
Scribbling, coloring, art making
Walk & talk therapy outside
D r e a m s
Among others

We collaborate. Ultimately it matters what works for you. You always have a say.

Therapy is a tool in the greater scheme of the world we live in. There are systems at play that contribute to, and perhaps sometimes cause, the struggles you find yourself facing. That said, I believe that individual healing makes a huge difference in how we feel and show up in our lives, which also has a positive impact on the collective.
