Hi, I’m Laura!

I’m Laura (she/they), a neurodivergent therapist in San Jose, CA who loves helping folks navigate the complexity of being human.

Therapy works best when you feel comfortable with your therapist. I’m super present with my clients and place value on being authentic and building trust.

The inner world has fascinated me for a long time. Having done (and continuing to do) my own healing means I come to this work with a steady presence and a sense of what it’s like to be on the other side of the process. I have deep respect for it and will meet you with unhurried attunement and curiosity.

Creativity has always been part of how I understand myself and the world. I appreciate how it can act as a bridge to the unknown, and also to being known. While I can hold a lot, I also believe healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. Play is healing, too. My inner child LOVES silly art, creative nonsense, nature, and dad jokes.

Outside of work, you might find me walking Louie with a camera or book in my hand.

Hi, I’m Louie!

I come to the office most days and I’m really chill—especially for a husky! I don’t care that much about the inner world, but I do like sniffing, curling up for a nap, and having some dreams.

My favorite things are meeting other dogs, having my pack together in one place, going for walks, and treats!!
